I'm excited that you're visiting my page.
My name is Patricia - a name I love - however, everyone calls me Tricia.
Words are a passion for me and have been since an early age. As a result, I became an avid reader. Reading led me to begin writing poems, short stories, letters and journals. When my children grew to be teenagers and were more independent, I decided to pursue publication of my works.
My first three novels are about the Carlucci family. During my formative years, I lived in upstate New York. Many of my friends were of Italian descent and their families and traditions had a great influence on this little Irish girl. I love expanding upon the lives of this fictional family. They’ve already provided me with many stories and have many more to come.
My strong Christian faith led me to write a daily devotional message for my co-workers which eventually became my first book. I now have two devotional books written and hopefully more in the future. I am also a leader of Bible study groups which I host in my home. The women in these groups have blessed my life and have served as an inspiration in my writing.
I work full time with special needs children at a public elementary school. This has been the most rewarding position I have ever held. I love each and every one of these children and I look forward to seeing them every day. While certainly fiction, my second book, Less Different Than The Same, was heavily influenced by many of the young people who have crossed my path during my years in education.
